Las Conchitas Area
lies approximately 1.5 km south of the San Albino Gold Deposit and 0.5 km north of the recently acquired El Jicaro Property. The 8 square mile area hosts several significant recently discovered gold bearing zones - San Pablo, Intermediate, Las Conchitas/Rio Jicero and Las Dolores.
The four mineralized zones are of a similar style of mineralization to San Albino Gold Deposit - gold is distributed in both quartz veins and surrounding country rock (phyllites) and range from 300 to 1,500 metres in length, open along strike in both directions and at depth. The identified target drill areas are located in very close proximity, within a 2.5 km area, offering the potential to utilize one centralized processing plant for the entire Southern District.
